What types of scoring do you support?

GolfSheet supports both head-to-head and field-style competition. Seasons, tournaments, and rounds can be set up with different scoring options.

Individual Scoring
  • Match Play
  • Stroke Play
  • Stableford
  • Most Holes Won Points
  • Low Net Score Points
Field / Tournament Scoring
  • Field Stroke Play (leaderboard-style)
  • Field Stableford
Team Scoring

All individual scoring can be earned in Team mode as well as:

  • Team Match Play
  • Team Stroke Play
  • Lowest Score Shooter per matchup
  • Team Low Score Points

Scramble mode is also supported for team-based rounds.

Can I do team based groups?

Yes, a season, outing, or round can be setup as either “Individuals” or “Teams.” Teams can be any size and can include subs or alternates as well.

Does GolfSheet support scrambles?

Yes. Simply add Golfers to Teams and select "Scramble" as the scoring mode on the Season or Round.

I don’t get cell service at my course. Will your app still work?

Unfortunately, the software needs internet connectively to function. Offline support and other options to handle poor cell connections are something we want to focus on down the road, but for now, you’ll need a good data connection to use GolfSheet while on the course.

That being said, you can still use GolfSheet effectively by just writing down the scores on your scorecards like usual and entering them into the software when you’re back into coverage area or have WiFi access.

How does the free trial work?

Every group gets 2 free rounds. Use them anytime to check things out. If you’re still unsure after 2 rounds, reach out to [email protected] and we’ll get you a few more rounds until you’re ready to decide.
