← BackFill Match Scores From a Scorecard Photo
New
GolfSheet can now help you enter match scores from a completed paper scorecard.
From the Enter Scores page for a match, open the action menu, choose Fill scores from photo, and upload a photo of the completed scorecard. GolfSheet will read the visible hole-by-hole scores and fill them into the match for you.
How it works
- Open a match’s Enter Scores page
- Tap the three-dot menu
- Choose Fill scores from photo
- Upload a photo of the completed scorecard
- Review the filled-in scores carefully
- Make any corrections needed
- Submit the card
Important notes
- This feature is designed to save time, not replace review
- AI can make mistakes, especially with unclear handwriting, partial photos, or names that do not match the players in the match
- GolfSheet will show warning messages if the AI is unsure about parts of the scorecard
- Duplicate uploads of the same image are blocked
- Each match currently allows up to 3 scorecard photo attempts
Best results
For the best score extraction:
- Take the photo in good lighting
- Make sure the full scorecard is visible
- Keep the image straight and in focus
- Use a scorecard where player names are readable and match the players in the match as closely as possible
This is a great option for groups that still prefer to keep score on paper during the round but want faster digital score entry afterward.
